Proud Peacocks

I keep forgetting I can post this here as well. I usually put it on my Pillowfort (I'm Iarnvidia there if you feel like looking me up, look for this icon).

This is page 1 of 8. It's called Proud Peacocks, and it's by Lesley Teare, who is easily one of my favourite cross stitch designers. There will eventually be peacocks, and the whole thing will be in these colours. I reaaally love this colour scheme!

That colour scheme is gorgeous!

It's wonderful. It also made me very careful in choosing my fabric and finding some in the perfect golden colour. It's not super obvious in the photo but it's sort of sandy beige and goes really well with the blues and greens and makes them stand out.

Will there be beads? I'm always scared of her stuff because of lots of beads...

No, no beads. I've never noticed a lot of beads. I think this is my second one of hers that I'm actually stitching, but there are so many things on my Some Fine Day... list. I just never paid attention to what was in them. The only thing I've ever done that involved beads, I opted out of using them because I thought it looked weird and plastic-y in the picture and figured I'd just do a group of French knots in a similar colour instead. And now I've accidentally misplaced the beads that came with that kit, so that's that..

I don't know. A couple of the ones I'm interested in did use beads when I went to look, so it could be I've just happened to ´pick some without.
