Ghost Town

This was a kit from the Mill Hill Buttons & Beads Autumn Series. I did not get it done in time for Halloween. I didn’t even get it done in time for New Year’s.

Most of the beads don’t show up very well, but there are a lot of shiny, shiny beads in this. The ghosts are outlined in glow-in-the-dark thread. And I decided to go with a plum frame over the recommended purple iris.

That is gorgeous as heck. Good job! The plum frame helps to bring out the colors nicely. Did the glow in the dark thread work well?

Surprisingly well. And I'm oblivious enough that I didn't realize it was glow-in-the-dark; I thought it was just regular sparkly thread as an accent. As sparkly thread, it's a bit of a dismal failure, but it glows in the dark really well.
