Every time I'm going somewhere with mine I end up improvising as well. It just doesn't travel easy. Recently, though, I was given a lipstick case from somebody who wanted to give me a small gift, didn't have much money and didn't really know what I liked, but she thought it was pretty and it didn't cost much so I got it. I don't even own a lipstick, but I discovered that it's an excellent little container for a couple of needles on a small magnet, a set of tweezers and a needle threader. It is so just the right size, you'd think it was made for it. :)
