Last summer's projects

I have not completed any projects this summer (yet), but these are from last summer:


"Villette" journal cover.

Made for my first notebook for taking notes in graduate school.


"Maiden and Unicorn" cross stitch.

I began this around 1996. I carried it around with me and worked on it occasionally from my childhood room, to dorm rooms, apartments, and finally finished it at home last summer.


"Pear" tea towel.

I finished this about ten years ago, but it's been in my sewing basket for years, waiting to be sewn to a new tea towel. I really liked this bottlecap pattern from Hobby Lobby.

Those all look great. Can you bear to use the tea-towel, though? It wouldn't be so pristine white in our house for long...
