Update for this week. A fair amount done, but I've felt less than stellar the last few days. Some one had asked for some close-ups, so I did a few.

This week. This section isn't a complete page, so I should be done with this part before the end of March
Now for some close ups!

Date: 2012-02-27 02:50 am (UTC)Thanks! I got the raised eyebrow from my mom when I told her what I was doing, you know the one that silently asks if you've ingested something you shouldn't have. It's been crazy, but worth the challenge.

Date: 2012-02-27 11:26 pm (UTC)I've got my pattern set up on 8.5x11 sheets of paper with built in overlaps, which helps with the clean borders. Early reference photo, complete page to stitched area.
From there it all depends on what I'm actually stitching. Right now the section I'm in lends itself to stitching one color straight through. Other sections I'll stitch as much as possible in one color, then if the jump to pick it up elsewhere is too big I'll switch colors.
