So -- let's get started! I'd like to have some resource posts; things like good/bad online shops (kind of like reviews, I guess), linkspams to sites with freebies, finishing ideas (and how-tos), and online resources (stitch and fabric calculators, floss conversion.)

I think the best way to handle that is to put up some posts, tag 'em, and let people play in the comments, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Is there anything you can think of I may have left out of the list above?

Reviews can be for catalogues, online or brick-and-mortar shops; please be specific about what you like or don't like about the shop in question, and give either a URL or an address.

If there is a thread started for the shop, etc., you wish to review, please add your comment to that thread in order to make it easier for others to find multiple reviews.
