Stitching Shows

I have a facebook friend in Ireland asking me about stitching shows in the US. Anyone been to any or have ones they'd particularly recommend?

By stitching shows do you mean things like Celebration of Needlework and the big annual shows in Nashville, or are you thinking more of the annual show at Woodlawn?

Either way, we may have to make a new tag....

Personally I'm interested in all of the above. But now, I'm asking specifically in relation to my friend in Iceland finding it worth it to make a trip to the US - not that she wouldn't do other things in addition to the show, but it would weigh heavily into the trip.

So something on the bigger side or at least in the vicinity of great tourist stuff. LOL

I did have the Celebration of Needlework site, and Stitching Jubilee. Is there anything to show her for the annual shows in Nashville? I didn't know there were such...

The Nashville Needlework Market is held in February (?), and seems to be open to the public (not just vendors and LNS owners/agents)....


ETA: Nevermind -- on a further perusal of the site, it does look like designers selling to LNS owners, and that the businesses have to be regsitered.
