Idea Post

So -- let's get started! I'd like to have some resource posts; things like good/bad online shops (kind of like reviews, I guess), linkspams to sites with freebies, finishing ideas (and how-tos), and online resources (stitch and fabric calculators, floss conversion.)

I think the best way to handle that is to put up some posts, tag 'em, and let people play in the comments, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. Is there anything you can think of I may have left out of the list above?

Can you do me a huge favor? Can you repost your paper entry to this post, and then delete the original? That way it'll be with everything else....

(Sorry -- one of the things that drives me crazy about the LJ cross_stitch comm is how hard it is to find things! I figure if we put things together in one post, nothing will get missed in tagging....)

I redid my comments to freebies and resources into one that allowed you to click the links. But apparently since I am using OpenID I can't delete the old ones... or at least I can't find the option. Can you delete them? THANKS!

Okay, scratch that, I TRIED to fix my links. They looked correct in the preview, but when they posted, the did not work. An OpenID limitation?? I don't know. Guess I'll stop for now since its not working right. Sorry!
