Joan Elliott Spring Fairy

I've been working on this for a couple of years now, injury and bereavement leaving it put on hold, but having had the past week off work I've had a marathon stitch and made a load of progress. It's about 90% finished now, not including the backstitching and beads (so many beads, whyyyy?)



This photo is from December which was the last time I really worked on this.



And this is after the past week.



There's some scenery that needs doing in the bottom left corner but after that it's just backstitching and beading and then I'm done. I'll probably go on to the Summer or Autumn Fairy when it's finished or I may just pick up something completely different, I don't know yet.

It's beautiful. <3 I'm really happy with how it's turning out, though obviously it'll look better when it's washed and ironed. And yes, the bunny is adorable. XD
