Second Project [technically third]

yacobaJust last week I began work on my second major [my definition of major...I'm sure it would seem easy to those of you who have been at this longer than me ^_~] project.
I chose this pattern:
Done by the same artist that created Todd the Frog. [This is Dex btw...apparently I must name everything]

Oh and I have a question for any/all of you. What sort of needles do you prefer to use?
When my friend got me everything I'd need to start stitching she got me a pack of blunt end needles. I've lost all but two of them [I'm that talented] I went out to a craft store to look for more but the only blunt needles they had were 18k gold plated. I bought them ['cause they aren't nearly as expensive as the gold makes them sound] I was wondering if anyone else prefers to use them?
