This was a retirement gift for a friend I've been coworkers with for 22 years. She's a huge Harry Potter fan. It was really fun to stitch, too. I loved the colors.

The colors are even better in person, although one of the reds kept giving me intense cravings for Hawaiian Punch. :-)

I'm tempted to stitch the others too, but I'm not into Harry Potter myself, and I don't know anyone who identifies as Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. My niece is a Slytherin, but she's only 13, so I don't want to spend months stitching something she'll only like for a few years.

This is great! I've seen House Crest designs before but the colours on this one are vastly richer and better thought out.

Thanks! I was looking for an excuse to stitch it because I liked the colors so much. I was thinking birthday present or something, but then she told me she was planning to retire, so that worked out.
