Bookmarks, Butterfly

Okay I found those bookmarks so here's the image heavy post I promised last time.









I'm not sure what flowers these are.



Or these... they're not peonies, are they?



I really like that they didn't go for poinsettias. Poinsettias are beautiful, don't get me wrong, but as a December baby I at least get kind of tired of them after a while. Why couldn't we get Christmas Cactus as our flower? At least that's actually a flower...

/cough/ sorry, didn't mean to go on a mini rant!

Anyway...



This is the one I'm starting now, but... well, it's off center. I have no idea how this happened. And I don't mean a little, I counted and one margin is where the tip of my thumb touches that crease and the other is where my needle is stuck in the cloth. It will be extremely noticeable.

I'm seriously considering ripping it out and starting over, as frustrating as that always is... but I don't have a lot of certain colors that I've used on the butterfly. I don't know if I can do that, much as I want to... /sigh.

Good going - that was a very fast turn around for getting it sorted!

I only did a couple posts... I might do more later, since it really is irritating to go back and find all my images broken like they were here.
