I finished the thing!

I finished the "Drink and know things" cross stitch! The gift exchange is tomorrow. This should be fun.

The wine picture was from a Maria Diaz design called "Vineyard Holiday" in The World of Cross Stitching (sorry, don't know which issue). There were some fields and a house but I took those out to make room for the text.

The font was from a book, Better Homes and Gardens 2001 Cross Stitch Designs.

The thread shades are an unholy alliance of DMC and whatever Anchor I had lying around, plus a last-minute substitution of DMC 2 for the highlights in the glass.

I am really pleased with how it turned out.
